    Thats's exactly what I do. AND:
    - I use a small wedge of foam sponge to apply and then work it in with my hands, gloves on of course
    - Put it in the sun for a couple of hours to really get it to soak in
    - Park it overnight
    - Make sure the rinse water is on the hot side
    - Finish up by drying & buffing with a terry towel
    - I agree about the prestine clean..don't see any more benefit from it

    I paid $500 to redo the dash with identical material. Had to remove it myself though, which was a hassle.
