Somebody did me a solid and he's also a first time Ferrari owner (although he's had a ton of other cool cars). Like to get him a nice gift for his trouble in helping me, and thought something like a titanium shifter knob, or something else cool, might do the trick. Any ideas from 355 owners about a cool thingie they might want for their car and suggestions as to source? Thanks in advance.

My vote is for carbon fiber door sills.
No matter how nice you keep your 355, the stock items always seem to deteriorate.
That, or a set of cats, 'cause you can bet any 355 will need them too!

    Good one!

PS Brian, what is your avatar representing? Can't quite make it out.
I see a road through a windshield, and what seems to be a big bale of hay?

Nice cover from Griots would be my vote.

It's a little small. It's a logging truck that lost it's load and one of the logs is headed right for the windshield.

Is it photoshopped or real if you happen to know, never noticed it.

I wasn't too far off then!

    To get back on topic,
since he's new to the F-car world, how about a subscription to FORZA, and a set of gen-u-ine Ferrari valve stem caps?

I'm sure it's Pshop. If you saw a large pic you would understand it would be a fatal accident. It was part of a series of "A bad day" photos.

    Back to the topic:

I think the door sills are a great idea. OE rust and dent and get ugly.

I try to buy most of my regular customers scale models of their cars. Always a cool idea I guess.

I just recently started doing it but the customer has to spend y amount to get a generic one of their car. I.E. an F355. But the ones that spend x amount I'll spend the money to get them an exact replica of their car I.E. a customer that ordered a set of wheels from me and cf intake and exhaust will get a scale car with all the details, kind of a souveneir. I'll probably be contacting Cavallino models but froogle.com will give you competetive prices. I don't know how good of a friend he is and whether you want to spend $10-20 or $100-200 on him or even more but just a suggestion.
