    Gents and Ladies,

I am sure I have seen posts on here on how to take off the door cards on the 355 but search as I have I have found nothing.

My window is sort of stuck and will only move about half an inch up ot down, does anybody know what type of regulator is used and if it has cables?

Help to get the door card off would be much appreciated...

I will put up some pics when I go home tonight.

But the best way to access the door regulator is actually by taking off the bottom half of the door on the outside skin, not the inside part of the door.

If you do a search you will find a couple of threads on how to do this. Here is the one I found. First pic shows what I mean about removing the lower outer panel:

I at first tried to reach the regulator from the inside, by removing the inside of the door off. But because of the metal plating you can only unscrew the regulator from the door skin this way. You can't actually see it or inspect it.

So start with the outer lower door panel removal first. What I would do is see if one of the rails is cracked (like in the post http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=59677&highlight=355+rattle ) or lose. Also clean the electrical connection to the regulator.

If that does not do it, and you indeed have to replace a regulator, you will in fact have to take off the inside door panel to unbolt the regulator from the metal skin of the car.
