    20th August: So here we are in sunny Wales - Saundersfoot, 5 Ferraris driving through a very busy beach side resort. You must picture this place, very scenic traditional UK seaside, many people crowded into a small town, about the size of a village square.

    ......the ferraris descend along the main street, led by a 328 GTS, followed by 3 348's and you could hear the 'wow's' and the gasps from the many on lookers, and bringing up the rear of the 5 cars was Hudson's 355 spider.

    Rob heard the public cry - look there's one ferrari (328), and another (348) and another(348) and another(348) and another (referring to the last car - Rob's 355), then someone corrected the onlooker and shouted (referring to Robs car) that's not a ferrari!! - yep true story

    Sorry Rob, the story had to be told:)

    No,no, no. Real 355s are deep blood red in ya face spiders with De-cat Capristos. If one was there on ya run out today,you would have heard a little boy on looker crying and saying. "Look daddy that big nasty monster ferrari has just sucked up that 328 and 348, and just spat them out again", :D:D

    The Ferrari F355 Spyder has been named as the ultimate hairdresser’s car in a survey carried out by a women’s insurance company.

    A snip at £55,000, the immaculately styled F355 made the cut by beating off competition from the Fiat Cinquecento in second place and the standard Ford Ka in third as the vehicle most likely to be driven by a genuine hairdresser. The Peugeot 106 and the “new” VW Beetle completed the top five.

    The results challenge the stereotype that has wedded hairdressers to underpowered sports cars such as the BMW Z3, Mazda MX-5 and Mercedes SLK. In fact, these cars were found to be among the least likely to be driven by a hairdresser.

    The Italian-built F355 won plaudits when first introduced for its snappy performance, clipped handling and Pininfarina styling. It was promoted by Kylie Minogue and won a drive-on part in the 2004 Thunderbirds film as Lady Penelope’s other all-pink Spyder, bearing the numberplate *** 8.

    Diamond Insurance, which carried out the survey by asking 2,000 hairdressers what they drove, found the F355 is three times more likely to be driven by someone who works in a hair salon than by drivers in other occupations. “It’s not surprising that the F355 is so popular among hairdressers,” said managing director Sian Lewis. “It’s stylish, modern and the folding roof allows them to show off their latest mops.”
