    Level III Capristo??
Do they still make 3 levels for 355?
I thought for 355 they only make only 1 level now which is a level II.
    Please advise.

Capristo does make a level III. Dealers in the US do not stock it; therefor, it has to be ordered from Germany. I had a hard time convincing the folks we ordered the exhaust from that I really wanted a leve III. Went something like this:

me: I want to order a Capristo level III.
dealer: No, I think you want a level II.
me: No, I want a level III.
dealer: Are you sure? A level III is very loud.
me: I have heard one on a 355 and that is what I want.
dealer: Are you sure it was not a level II.
me: No, it was a level III. I want a level III.
dealer: The level III is very loud, I think you really want a level II.
me: Look I have a Diablo with test pipes and a Tubi. I want a level III.
    dealer: OK.

Front bumper is off to get at the sensor for the suspension. One was bad and had to be replaced.

Yep level one is the best for the road IMO. Its not to in ya face, and gret on long trips. But sounds just right when ya need it to. And one of my pet hates is having an exhaust system that sounds to powerful compared to the cars true potential:) If ya get me drift.
Here's mine with the level One in the im-famous clip:D http://s115.photobucket.com/albums/n281/ferrarispider/?action=view&current=355fly.flv and http://s115.photobucket.com/albums/n281/ferrarispider/?action=view&current=355infront1.flv

Very nice! :D Do you have any sound clips, wav or mp3?

Haven't driven mine in 8 months, so I am going through withdrawals. I'm told I can pick it up from the shop, but am in no rush with 10+ degree farenheit (-12C) weather. Maybe I'll go get it Saturday and take it for a spin.

After speaking with Nick at Forza Ferrari, who spoke with Mr. Capristo about my needs, I took Chaa's advise and got the Capristo 1 and Hyperflows for my spider. I wanted it loud when I got on it, but civilized for more leisurely drives. A level 2 would have worked on a Berlinetta. Both said level 3's are too loud for most of their customers, especially with spiders. My install pics, a DIY, are here on FChat under "355 CATS".

Due to weather, I haven't driven with convertible top down, but it sounds good in "normal" driving, but on demand I can "blow out windows and make children cry!" Others I drive with have given it raving reviews. I drove behind my wife driving my 355 ,in her car a 360 with Capristo 3's, and I like the 355 sound better! (I'm prejudiced of course). The 360 is a coupe, so the sound is not overwhelming. The loud is fairly constant though. As I said, if I want to, just a bit of throttle, and instant F1 sound!!!

Chaa's sound clip is fairly accurate depite tiny computer speaker limitations. Looks just like my car, except my steering is on the other side!
