I have been reading horror stories of 355 engine fires. Seems most 355 parts cars are all parted out due to engine fires. Just a little nervous. Can anyone explain why this is such a problem with 355's? Is there something I need to get checked out on my car?

Fuels lines rubbing on hose clamps.
Ferrari sent out new fuel distribution blocks on a recall campaign.
    Simple, quick fix.

Just bought my 95 Spider in Nov 2009. What do I need to do?

Learn how to use the search function here which would easily answer both your recent threads and then talk to your nearest franchise dealer to check if the serial number has already been done or doesn't need doing

Yep, a quick call to your local dealer should be able to tell you if the recall has been performed.

Definitely develop a relationship with your local FNA dealer. They can assist with any outstanding recalls or campaigns. Call with your VIN # would be a start.

I cannot recall hearing about any 355 engine's catching on fire...definatley not a common 355 flaw like typical problems...

Well, it is the reason for the fuel line recall. There are a few threads here, and on other forums with pictures. Heck, one guy posted here on his car going up only a few weeks after the recall, and he had only purchased a month or two before and had no idea...I think he lived in the UK.
