Anyone know the weight of the engine/trans and rear suspension..i.e. weight of complete rear assembly that you remove for engine out service?

That seems light......I'm building a hydralic lift cart to support the rear sub-frame and needed weight of assembly so I could properly fabricate.

    Thanks PAP!!

I had estimated 1000 lbs. just to be safe (considering weight on the casters)

When designing any type of lift where you might be under the suspended item you want to use a saftey factor of at least 2, so design for at least 1800 lbs. and make sure that any 1 castor is rated for the full weight of the item because floor are never truely flat which leaves 1 or 2 wheel off the ground at time and when you are rolling it a crank of bolt of other debris can bind lift a wheel causing all kinds of strange loads in strange directions and you don't want to rip the wheels off.....I've learned this leason several times now :(
