    In researching a little, I noticed that several 355's with failed headers seem to have failed on the #2 cylinder and have that cylinder wall glazed as well. Is there something about #2 cylinder that results in it failing first or is it just anecdotal coincidence that this seems to be the case?

    What say the collective?

    I think that's the one that usually goes first, it did on mine. Can't remember it, but there was a plausible-sounding theory on here a long time ago.
