    ha ha.. you can't!

This is secret squirrel stuff.. it's all done with smoke and mirrors!

You don't need any of it unless you're RACING...

    are you?

If you're a road user... spend your money on driver training....

I'm showing what can be done. It's not cost effective and it's not easy...

if you want to go really fast, fit a super charger.

Goth this is not secret squirel stuff I'm 90% sure it is just ECU programing in Alpha-N. I'm not all up on this contact stooge No Doubt. He has access via his motronic eprom chip reader. Remember he can reprogram all the 348 stuff like he did for Plugzit. You can run Alpha-N (I think RPM and Throttle position sensor) mapping on anything once you see the 3d maps from the chip reader.
All the other sensor inputs contribute to street driveability and smog passing. Racers don't need that stuff. I've been telling Plugzit to just dump all the stuff over his 355 itb's on his 348 to velocity stacks poking out the decklid and have NoDoubt program alpha-N.

Exactly.. a 550 Maranello would do just fine if you want reliable power on the road.

;) Good luck with your 90% tune up FBB!!!

My experience is that there are VERY few (I only know 3) ECU tuners can do all things I need..

    1) Turn off rear lambda (remove cats)

    2) Turn off immobiliser

    3) Remove air flow/temp sensor

    4) Increase power AND Torque

    5) Reduce fuel consumption

    6) Change rev limiter

    7) Change inlet variation parameters

    Dooooh' !!!

Well, I like the way the 355 looks . I picked it over a 512tr! I think the 355 has some pretty timless lines to it. I can drive it practically anywhere without getting mobbed too. All it really needs is about 50 more horspower. ;)

So now I'm 100% right. The list is not so great. Give your eprom chip to No Doubt and he can figure it out for you. None of that list sounds too difficult if you can program eprom chips. Of course if you don't want to use oem ecus then it is easier in some ways with more control but more hardware to put in. To my knowledge there is not laptop interface to change oem ecus on the fly.

    yeah.. good choice.

50 BHP from a 355 is doable... pistons, cams, lightweight racing flywheel/clutch, race exhaust system, head work etc etc... but it'll cost ya $50K+..

fit a couple of turbo for same money and get 600+

I've been through a dozen dreamers to get what I want. They ALL said they could do it....

only 3 can. And not one of my 3 can do everything I want... it's a team effort.

Yeah the turbo have been calling my name . Though chaa's 355 has 329RWHP which is about 29 more than stock to the wheels. He has test pipes, capristo, hamman chip and k&n's. Than is pretty good to me :). I will have to dyno my car for baseline numbers first though .

If you are talking about the AFM being rendered inoperative....yes. Was there anything else that I should take note of?
