Oh, the back cut angle on the rear of the plenums, just like the ones I fabricated for my 348.

Sorry about that Phil....I just got off the phone with Dave who is doing some glass work for my engine bay cover...lol

Phil...I thought there was a black box added to the CH car which was MAP...or atleast Michelotto had developed one for the N spec cars...

No... the back cut angle is stock... it was done to ALL 360's upon introduction of the spider model... it makes no difference to performance... it's done for clearance to the roof mechanism!

Nope... there is no MAP sensor on Michelotto... and nor 360C. All programming for engine is within the standard ECU's.

Step 5 360 GT engines have Marelli management but require cable operated throttles, and I "think" they have a MAP sensor.

Phil is that a cooling collar?? I now see the reason for the angle at front of plenum cover.......but nowhere do I see this was offered in a 2 piece design like yours.....hmmmm

Ok, you got me . I was trying to sound 'gung-ho' ;). So far they are only out of the box. :D

I will be using them to make a jig. So maybe later I can make a 4 into 1 configuration to dyno the differences of the stock 4 into 2 into 1 .

Will keep you posted when the cool stuff starts happening :). I will keep that offer open Plugzit :) :D .!!

So your telling me that you can disable the AFM's or remove them completely and make all changes necessary by reworking the factory ECU??
Sounds complicated and expensive.......that being said I am starting to think like Group77 and considering the engine as 2 4cyl's sharing a common crank....there is some pretty trick stuff on the market for the HO high revving Japanese engines.....they do MAP conversions all the time with great success.....prices are very reasonable, and with laptop control you can make needed changes without burning chip after chip.
I am open for all suggestions....my ideas are not set in concrete, and any help in the design will save me from alot of headaches(and money) down the road.
Many thanks Phil....always look forward to your comments.

Ok Phil I give....if inlets are at stock height you've either lowered the engine or the stacks are shorter.....

No controversy.....just shows the mechanical TB's and linkage.....this would be the way to go for the 355, seeing that the 360 is a fly-by-wire setup that requires the 360 ECU and pedal assembly.

Many thanks for the post Goth

Niiiiiiice (insert Borat voice  ) !!! So will you be converting the stock 360 TB's to 'mechanical' linkage or will you be going with larger 'aftermarket' versions  ??

Decisions,decisions,decisions......I like Group77's TB setup...I am not sure if his will bolt to ferrari plenum cover, but the plenum cover can be refabed to accept just about anything....I am at this point trying to figure out how the engine is breathing thru the longer runner at low rpm and transitioning to short runner at high rpm....if that is even how that sucka works??

Hang in there man! This is for the greater good of all our 355's :). We have to keep those 348 guys at bay  !!

Do you have pics or a diagram of how the cross flow runners are configured??

Those 348 guys have it made.....atleast Michelotto showed the potential of that engine.......I don't believe anyone really took the 355 to those same limits...maybe the cost was prohibitive or at the time they were viable race cars other mfgs had far superior cars within the rule book limitations.
    I may even revert to 2.7 OBD1 if I have to...lol

I am NOT goin to tolerate this anymore.......that Daniel at Ricambi just sent me an obscene picture(really sick).....these 348 guys are gettin way out of control and now with the help of one of the sponsors who's name I will withhold(RICAMBI AMERICA) has proceded to use illegal parts in an attempt to make there cars look faster than a 355........there is no limit to how low than can go...........now Daniel, please, please, please let me have one of those...yes Ima beggin.................lol
