Yes no problem, i bought the same steering wheel from him last year and had been looking for two years, i paid to his bank account and he was very assuring and good communicating all the way.

Germans can be very special at times and not flexible, good you got it sorted with your friend in Spain.

So how are you guys installing the Euro steering wheel without the adapter and leather covered column?

The euro wheel I bought didn't have that ^ The 456 wheel I bought did however and I was able to use it with the euro 355 wheel.

You can buy aluminum adapters from Superformance but of course they don't quite look the same.

The adapter is one thing, but I would assume without the leather covered column covering most of the adapter, it would lack an OEM finish. Good to know the 456 version worked! How easy or difficult is that to find? So you have the Superformance/hill adapter plus column cover from 456 pre-airbag wheel?

Actually I have the 456 hub and hub cover so all oem stuff. The 456 wheels don't come up too often either but last time I checked they were still available to order. (unless that was incorrect).

I think it's a nice alternative to the euro 355 wheel as it looks pretty close and is a lot less expensive.

456 hub is a direct bolt on? No modification? That’s a great find. Ill ask my buddy to see what he can find. He’s the one I’m trying to help out. I’ve already got a complete set :).

Cant tell for sure but it looks a tad shorter, but works perfectly! This is a great solution if those parts can still be ordered new. You don’t see Euro steering wheels sold with anything attached behind it.

Does anyone know what build number car it was when Ferrari switched to the airbag steering wheel?

My buddy looked into the 456 hub/column and the steering/hub/column is only sold as one unit and 1 part number. It is still available, but pricey if you don’t want the 456 wheel.

    What is the part number?

The 456 wheel is a close second to the original 355 euro wheels. I wonder if it could be wrapped in leather or painted black to better suit the 355.

The diagram is listed on Eurospares and can still be ordered new. I believe @INTMD8 still has his 456 steering wheel.

If you're gonna wrap or paint the center, why not just work with the nicked steering wheel I showed you? You're better off putting effort into that. I think the 355 wheel is much nicer.

Yeah fair enough. It's pretty banged up.

I guess I should go for the one with the hub? It looks worse off...

Definitely on the fence about the ones you sent me for sale. They're so rough...and guy wants mint money for them.

Tell me ShineKen, where did you purchase your brand new Europe spec steering wheel from? I would have loved to get my hands on one like that. Did it come with the adaptors? Was it a direct fit?

To be honest I don't know. My good friend at Ferrari of Atlanta did it for me however I do feel that the steering wheel is way to far from my body the way it came out.

You won’t find one like the one I found unless you hound an owner who has one on his car. As you already know, these are not available. Mine came with everything.

Only way you guys are getting something like this is with alot of luck and persistence. There is no “source.” $20k couldn’t take this steering wheel off my hands.
