Ive got an annoying vibration rattle which I think is coming from my exhaust bypass valve. I brought a new one and fitted that becuase I was told that the old one was knackered when it was in for a service a couple of weeks ago...... But the new one does the same. Has anyone else experienced this ??
Scott, Very Very common problem with all 355's. I think if you do a search on FL355 (which is Frank Lipinski) I think he did a write up on how to wire these open to gain a little HP and subsequently stop the rattle. The design of the Bypass Valve is not very good - thus you will get a little gap and the vibration will happen. You will probably find it is on startup and until it is warmed up - then it will probably stop. There are also alternatives to replace/enhance your exhaust system which will eliminate this as well - a number of threads on this as well. Hope this helps, Rich
