What are the differences between the OEM optional sport exhaust and the factory challenge exhaust?I am looking to replace OEM exhaust system on my 1995 F355 Spider.Do not want to use Tubi or Capristo(too loud for spider).I had a Tubi on my 1990 348.Sounded fantastic but alittle too loud.I will be switching the cats to Hyper-flows also.Any thought of removing exhaust bypass and subbing with straight tube as on the challenge cars?

I have found or maybe stumbled into a nice exhaust for my 98 355 berlinetta. First I found and installed a challenge muffler-better sound and much smaller size and less weight than stock exhaust. Had to buy a new cross piece to mount it. Still had heat problems so I found a pair of Capistro muffled test pipes. Bought them used and just installed them and results are very pleasing. Louder but much less heat in engine compartment. The sound does not resonate cruising at 80+ but there is a much throatier and louder sound with acceleration. No check engine light on. Still to be seen is durability of challenge muffler, made by Ansa. Price was about half for Tubi and test pipes. Glad to answer any questions.
