I have seen these from a 360 taken apart to fix the reverse lever. On a 360 there is a screw on the circuit board side that you must remove to release the upper half of the box, the 355 box is missing this screw like the 360. With all the screws and plastic tabs spread the this thing will not come apart.

Any reference to doing this on a 355 just refers to the 360 instructionsanother me,be wrote up, and that doesn't work on mine.

Has anyone repaired a 355 control box for a lever replacement?
Mine has the dust cover for the lever broken and rattling in the bottom of this control box. Thought I'd try and fix it but Damm if it was made to be served at all.

    Thanks johnny

I'm guessing if no-one here knows Hills or Ricambi will be worth an email since presumably their modified lever is suitable for all - at a guess the hole under the 'n' of Germany which is where the screw hole is later must have something to do with it - probably find its glued on the early ones....

I have the broken / loose reverse lever too...and also couldn't see how to take it apart without breaking something. It still works so I gave up and kept on driving...

Any chance there is a release mechanism under that small hole, like the release on a CD/DVD player when the CD gets stuck?

The bottom snaps into the aluminum. There are 4 grips that have to be pried out. One on each side. I used four small flat screwdrivers. If you pri it out a little on any side you can see them. Of course the t comes off but you can do that after.

Bringing this thread back to life...
My reverse lever works, but the "pull up" lockout feature has never functioned, so I bought the Ricambi replacement (RL01), pulled my F1 unit out of the console, disconnected the cable, pried the tabs to remove the flat bottom panel (black) and... no center screw to allow the silver top to come off.

Try as I might, I could not get the silver portion to free itself from the black, no matter what tabs I pried. Every search (here and CS) shows a center black screw holding the green PCB/black surround to the silver top portion. Those appear to be later versions or ones from the 360.

I decided to be brave (or foolish?) and expand the small hole in the center of the green PCB (just below the word "Germany"). Sure enough, once I had it large enough (about 1/8" diameter) I could see a screw beneath. Ran a phillips head into the hole, found the screw and unscrewed it. The silver top portion came right off. So anyone still trying to get one of these things apart, odds are you need to provide yourself access to the center screw under the PCB.

And, after all that work and success getting the unit apart.. the damned flat-head screw that holds the old fork to the T-bar won't budge. I guess, like others here, mine was "cemented" at the factory.

I didn't feel like taking a dremel to it tonight, but plan to soon.
Anyone else have any advice/experience (like Turrrbo, in this thread:http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/technical-q-sponsored-algar-ferrari/365402-f1-reverse-lever-repair.html) getting the fork/bar apart when the screw is cemented?
