Hey Guys, The car is skipping 1st gear when it automatically shifts down at traffic lights. Its shifting down properly till 2nd and then going straight to neutral. when i shift up, its going from neutral to 2nd gear directly .. 3 out of 4 times its happening this way and once in a while it shifts up and shifts down properly to 1st gear .... Any help or info please ....
Nice thing about the 355 is that the clutch comes out the back. Not a whole lot of labor. Parts are probably going to be more than the labor. Haven't done one on my car though, so I don't know exactly. You can look up the parts on the ricambi web site. Others here will have recommendations about how far to go with parts replacement (throwout bearing etc), and recommended upgrades (Hill Engineering).
