    Hi I have a 1999 F1 spyder and had the LCD gear change indicator on the dashboard changed once last year. It was a rebuilt board I was told and it cost me $300 exchanged for the old one. Three months later the board went out again. I am not sure it's the board or the LCD itself. The LCD went bad progressively as now only half of the characters remain. Now I can't tell what gear I'm in except looking at the speedometer and the RPM tag. Last year I drove to Monterey on a 1000 miles round trip, some of the characters (not all) went back to life when the car was running hot. It's annoying and may be someone can direct me to right source to get it fixed this time. Anyone has the same problems? I checked the dealer and they want alot of $ to get it fixed with orignal part and I am afraid to get the same problem again. Thank you in advance.

    Same problem here, I'm missing one line of the characters....in time I'll have it fixed

    I just had mine done (one segment out) last month by Steve Jones.
    Incredibly fast turn around, and guaranteed forever. (You pay shipping)
