355 F1 trans service ?

Hi, this is my first post on the site and just had a few questions. I did some searching but just wanted to be sure before i dove into the service. When servicing the f1 trans the hydraulic unit and trans unit appear to be 2 separate units and use there own fluids. I have a few leaks on some of the service plates on the trans and want to take care of it when i do the 25k service this week and had saw a few things on the f1 unit if its drained and getting it blead correctly. Any help is appreciated !
