355 Factory wheels & tire values?

Hi All,

I will be changing my wheel configuration over to the Imola Racing wheels for my 98 355 Spyder. My question is: what is a fair market value for my factory (perfect condition) wheels and tires? The tires are "new" Michelin Pilot Sports,
265/40 ZR 18 Rears & 225/40 ZR 18 Fronts

STOP!! NO DONT DO IT let me tel you why. Two years ago i bought a set of after market wheels and tyres for my 328, they were top of the range 3/split rims. I sold of the standard wheels for peanuts.
When i came to sell the car alot of people, well in fact every one wanted the standard rims, but i did not have them, so the car was sold with the after market wheels on at a great loss. In fact i lost all my £4000 becourse the wheels were not standard. Remember your car may not sell with after market gear on.
So even though the new owner had my (4 month old and still as new)after market wheels for nothing, he knew and was over the moon at what he had done and was gloating. So if i had put the standard wheels back on at time of sale, i could have sold my after market (£4000) wheels for maybe £3000.While i am on the subject i did put my standard 328 exhaust system back on and sold my Stainless Steel one straight away, making my cash back.
Last week i had the capristo system and straight pipes fitted to my 355, you can bet that all the standard equipment is in storage.
Funny the ferrari world, alot of people want the car standard so they can put the after market wheels and exhaust systems back on them selfs.
Bellow is the car and the wheels that i GAVE away, just becourse i did not save the standard wheels.

Gotta agree, it would be best to save the wheels, and sell the car with them, or with whichever the future owner wants, then sell the left over wheels on Ebay. But for now, save them.

i put hre's on my spider and am keeping the originals for when i sell the car. i will then sell the hre's on ebay by themselves. never loose original equip from a ferrari! period!
