Well I finally got the call from the transport company that he was in town and would be delivering my 355 first thing in the morning. Morning came and he said he had a meeting so he'd be a little late. Later came and he asked for directions and said "man you're way out in the boonies. Let me fill up and i'll call you from the gas station and get directions". Two hours later I called him and he said "I have another drop off so it'll be a few hours". This time it's 1:30 in the afternoon. I told him I had business to take care of in Phoenix that I must attend to and can we do it this evening. He said and that he'd be there promptly at 7:00 p.m. I call at 6:45 and he said his other driver is in the hospital having surgery and he's worried about him. huh? I called at 7:45 and he said his airconditioner was broken and he was on the verge of heatstroke and asked if he could do first thing the next morning. That would have put him in town two hole days before delivering! Ofcourse I didn't believe him and asked where he was right then and I would come pick the car up. To make a longer story short he found out where I lived and didn't want to drive all the way to the north valley, or he would have eventually gotten there on "his" time which could have been another week! So I got the car, took me an hour to drive there, an hour and a half for him to unload it and an hour to drive back. He was covered in grease and got the whole interior ie: both seats, sides of interior doors, upholstery. I was pissed!!!!!

    I hope you

    a) didn't tip him
    b) deducted some amount (maybe $150) because he didn't complete delivery
    c) filed a claim with his insurance for professional cleaning of your interior
    d) publish his name and company so that nobody else from here will use him, ever

Oh my! that's unbelievable! I would like to know who that company is. Their is a reason why some of those guys are going out of business and others are swamped! I know I'm going home for the fourth of July for a day off, I haven't spent a day there since Feb.

yeah, which company? Alerting others to bad service is one of the best features of internet forums.

    That aside, how's the car?

The name of the company is Prestige Auto Transport. Go figure huh. The car is absolutely flawless. I'll post pictures soon enough. He wouldn't give me the keys without the full balance paid to him. After throwing myself around he knocked a whole $30 off for interior detail. I was just glad to have my car, threw the money at him and peeled out of there. The thrill and excitement of the drive home made me forget all about it as I had an ear to ear grin on my face the whole way.

Sorry to hear of the troubles. Isn't it amazing how the feel and sound of driving your own Ferrari make you forget about stressful situations. You went from a nightmare to a wet dream with the turn of a key and a little pressure on the loud pedal.:D
Make sure you bring it out this Sat. morning to the Cars and Coffee in Scottsdale.:)

Crap like this is why I use my AMEX for everything these days. AMEX is usally a bulldog when you dispute stuff!!!!! Something like this would be refunded 100% since they didn't fufill the terms of the contract (obviously I havn't seen the contract thought)
