Can anyone tell me how to tell if a 355 is a Fiorano just by looking at it...? Are there any subtle body differences...? Is there merely a plaque on the dashboard...? Is there anything on the rear grille...? Any help would be appreciated...

Open the glovebox and take out the registration. It should be marked clearly if it is indeed a Fiorano or not. No need to thank me.

The all have the Challenge grill, but then again a lot of the later model F355s have that.

According to Keith Bluemel there were 104 made. 100 numbered US versions, 3 for Italy and 1 for South Africa.

They certainly aren't all F1. I have more than 6 manual, but I don't have a complete list as yet...still working on it...any input gratefully received!

This was pretty cool...The part that I found interesting was where it said the Fiorano has more power due to alterations made to the computer mapping. I swore to myself that my car had more nuts than other 355's I have been in...now I know why...Thanks!

    Carbon,

Here is more info for you.

There is a plaque on the dash which shows which # in the series the particular model is. The "carbon" fiber panels make it obvious as well.

    355 FIORANO EDITION:

This is one of the most sought after Ferraris ever built. 1999 was the last year for the F355 Spider and the Fiorano Edition Spiders were the last 100 produced.

Fifty of the 100 Fiorano Edition Ferraris were imported into the United States. Out of that 50, only 9 are 6 speeds. Out of that 9, only one is black on black.

This F355 Spider Fiorano is most unique with the door jams, console and shift knob made of Carbon Fiber. It also has a leather dash and suede steering wheel, Ferrari floor mats, the Ferrari Badge, car cover, Scuderia Shields, Challenger Grill, and red brake calipers.
