    Hi all,
I am trying to gather information on parts that I need for the repair of my 355 spider (manual gearbox), which has light rear damage.
The question I have is the following:
Does anybody know what the difference is between part number 64925600 (bumper support trestle assembly" for a euro manual car, and part number 65402500, the same item but for a euro F1 car?
Obviously there is a difference because of the gearbox, but does anybody have pics? The workshop manual only shows 5 or 6 different versions, but all are number "4" in the parts drawing. I can't believe that the 2 versions will differ enormously, but would like to be sure before I buy.
And also important to mention, there is a huge price difference, around 750 usd vs 2400 usd, so now you know why I ask...
    Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks, will join the clubscuderia to view the pics, very helpful!
In the mean time if anybody might know the significant differences between both parts, please inform me.

I think it has to do with some added brackets in the back for something we don't have on a stateside car.

If you can get a Euro one cheaper go for it.

FYI the transmissions or transaxles are identical. 6 speed or f1 they are the same. It's the clutch control that's different.
The rear frame is the same just some are configured differently with more attachment brackets that's it really.

I actually need the euro car frame (living in Europe...).
The huge price difference must have something to do with what is still in stock at the factory, less euro brackets in stock?
And for the cheaper bracket, old stock clearance discount or something like that?

I would get whatever one is cheapest, and transfer anything you might need or be able to swap to the new one if need be.

And that is what I did, ordered the f1 version. It needs to be welded anyway. Will make pics of the process.

I have a good used USA F1 spec version spare if anyone is in need, located in the UK, its a lot stronger than the euro version, but will fit a euro car.

Be sure to find out lets say your looking at Ricambi america. As they do still list some parts on the website, it doesn't mean you will be able to get them. So be sure to ask if its available before you place your order.

It seems everything that's separate between the US and Euro parts have to do with 5 MPH crash rating thats all I can think is the reason.

The state side one is beefier, with the triangle area having a plate welded in. But I will have a euro 355 at my house next week I can try to help you really figure out the differences.
