The lens on one of my front foglamps is cloudy and yellow. It looks like the other one was replaced since it looks perfect. I was thinking about buying the 3M lens repair kit and giving it a try but I am worried that the foglamp is too small to effectively use the kit/pads.

Does anyone have any experience repairing these lenses. Am I better off just buying a new lamp and replacing it? Do I need to remove the bumper to replace the lamp? Thanks.

Thanks. So "the lots of work" is pulling the light or actually sanding the lens? I dont need to pull the bumper - correct?

Lot's of work polishing. You need to wet sand with various grades, increasingly fine until the final polish. Takes hours if very pitted.

I don't believe the bumper needs to be removed - mine was coz I was repainting it.

Just one corner under tray needs to be removed, jack up the car and you have access. 5 screws to remove under tray and 3 nuts plus washers hold the fog light into bumper. The glass is very hard to polish and will take some time to correct it.

Once fixed, get some stonguard film for the fog lights...first thing I did on my 328GTS and my F355 spider. Those lights are expensive, and in the case of the 328, NLA (now a third party makes repos)
