    not sure if its your camera.. but as you said it has a blue'ish even purple tint to it..
    I dont think this is an original color..

    put the VIN# in the 355 registry.. to see what the original color was.

    I never said purple tint,it's more like a silver blue i will post the colour code it kind of changes under light and i don't think this car has ever been painted very low KM.

    No sorry i don't and there is no service records.It seems to have been a long time ago plus i cant read the date codes on the belt's there wore off. So they have some KM on them.

    looks like some unshielded Fabspeed headers on there.. maybe even uncoated too.
    did you notice any heat damage anywhere on the motor mounts, inner CV boots etc..

    Yes both motor mounts are done <heat damage> . I'm removing the headers today to send out to get coated.CV boots are fine he has after market heat shields.

    after you got the motor out and looked at it do you feel it really needed a belt change? or was it just hype

    On this one i have to say yes because there was no service history.I do believe these belts have time and mileage on them so it was a good call..Do i think belts need to be done every 3 years no..I go by the 5 year rule.

    No.. but they were a bit loose with some wear.I didn't like the look of the tensioner bearings.
    It was time for a service.Like i said i don't know when the last service was done so i can't say how old the belts or tensioner bearings are,hard to make out the date code on the belts but looks like 2007.

    gees those mounts look disintegrated

    did the car have the little fabspeed shields for AC compressor and alternator?

    would like to see pic of the aftermarket cv boot shields you mentioned.
