    New OEM headers - It was due for a major when they failed. They lasted 14 years, including some track days, so I guess that's not bad considering their reputation. Most replace the OEM headers (and muffler) with after market but I am keeping the car stock since I frequently enter it in concours.

    Must have been another Mike from Canada.

    The cost of my major was north of $10K, but with the new headers and a few other issues the total was reasonable by Ferrari (dealer) standards.

    If you want to play, you gotta pay - one way or the other - either with your own time or paying for someone else's expertise. I haven't run across many cheap Ferrari parts either.

    $20K, wow. My recent major on a 95GTB was $1.5K with a new radiator. Wow.

    He had it done at the dealer,I think the headers are about 7k alone.
    I'm into it for about 2.3 k cdn in parts.

    timing belts..the good one's
    acc belts
    hill tensioner bearings
    motor mounts
    water pump seals
    oil filer
    coating of headers and test pipe's

    but do you not have the fabspeed heat shields for the oil tank and a/c?
    if not you could easily fab some up from some sheet metal.
