355 has never driven better

I have been driving my 95 355 120 miles per day back and forth to one of the places I work and it's driving great. I had a CEL come on once in a while for 15 min etc then off, she was also running rough, stuttering when cold CEL light would come on.

We all know "Drive them" however it's great to really feel it in the seat of your pants - Motor is running better then ever at 35K miles on her - Having a blast commuting in it - and no more CEL lights also the motor is running noticeably better.

since I work abroad, I might get to drive mine 1 month out of the year, cant wait for retirement...

If I remember, that car had been chipped. Did you do anything to convert it back or did you leave it as-is?

 

It has not changed, it is as I bought it. Has Hyper Flow cats, Fab Speed Headers, and Challenge exhaust - however it's not that loud - must have the low noise challenge exhaust. It's perfect more quiet then my stock CS, not a fan of really loud cars. Feels like the engine has more flow and can rev quicker then my previous BONE stock 95 355, not sure what the chip plays in that - The owner said is was simply to account for the increased flow in the exhaust - it is about 10HP increase if I recall.

Really remarkable how much better it runs after driving it so much, after my first post I drove 60 Miles back into Boston and I think it even ran better.

As I have already posted before, I think that the thing is that any car would start to have issues if left sitting for 10-15 years, so YES - driving it can definitely make the car "fix" itself.
