I tried getting my headrests off with no success. Any one have any tricks of the trade? I can see the notches and they look like a similar design to the 348 but they are not comming off.

    Thanks for any input.

I did get one off but it was not easy like others have said for a 348. You need to make a tool. When i get the other one off i will post because my first one took way too long to be much help.

I didn't find it easy on the 348 seats I was working on. I almost had a melt down and smashed the seats to bits. Why make it so frickin hard to remove? I finally got some thin plastic, rolled it around the headrest shafts and pushed it down where it would hold the stop back and slid them out. Kind of like a fuel line release tool. But I nearly went insane trying to get them off first.

Grant, you open the back of the seat back, find the clips, push them in, and pull out the head-rest.

I gotch ya now Mitchell, and thanks to Dave and Brian as well. That would have been less frustrating and quicker. I ended up making two half shafts out of beer cans ( its 90) right now and if i had no beer I also would have smashed something. I slid them down the shafts and pulled it out. Next time I would recommend taking the seat apart. McJoe posted a really good link.

    Thanks guys
