    Hello all,

Has anyone tried to have their 355 headers ceramicoated? If it was done inside and out, it might protect the headers from hot spots. Sure would be cheaper than all the alternatives I've read about!

    Just a thought.

    Yes I have recently.

Took covers off my OEM headers, had them cleaned and checked and coated inside and out.

    Kept covers off.

It's reduced engine bay temps considerably, flow should be better with inside coating and you get to keep that Ferrari high pitch sound that I find a lot of the after market headers lose a bit.

    Plus it's cheaper.

I have OEM headers that are ceramic coated inside and out (Inside tubes and on the heat shield installed in mid 2012. Makes a big difference in lowering heat in the engine bay.
