I'm close to moving forward on a 355. Everything checks out OK and the body is in good shape. What scares me is the stock exhaust. No problems so far but wit 24,XXX miles, I have to assume I will need to replace sometime soon.

Can the headers, and the entire exhaust for that matter, be replaced with the engine in the car or is it a full engine out procedure? The car has had a recent major and clutch replacement so there shouldn't be a reason to pull it out again soon.

    Thanks,

    Peter

It's tight Peter, but all the exhaust can be changed without pulling the engine again. It would likely be around 10 hrs of labor for a pro. Ten times that for me, of course...

Thanks. I'll see how long the stock ones last.

    Hi Peter,

Hopefully everything works out well for your purchase. The entire exhaust can be changed with the engine in place. We sell a full line of exhaust products for the 355. I am currently running a special on 355 products for the month of February (check out the link below). Let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to order anything. Thanks!
