Hello guys, i did a search and i could only find situations where one headlights is not going down, in my case both headlights won't go up but they turn on. i will check the fuses, but could it be a bad ground? This has happened before but they always came back up.

Check fuses in front trunk (left side). Weird to have both fail at once, but stranger things have happened. I would be inclined to check grounds and the various connectors. I have blown a headlight motor fuse once for the right side. Did this on a cold winter night backing out of my garage...perhaps from the cold and lack of use? Replaced and never happened again.

    1) Check fuses in trunk.

    2) Check relays in trunk.

    3) Check to make sure the housing is properly tightened down and not loose.

    4) Check to make sure the housing isn't getting hung up on the lip running across the top of the bumper. The spot welds on the back of the housing can break causing the housing to sag forward. This will result in the motor drawing to much power, because the housing isn't moving, and popping a fuse.

    5) Check to make sure the wires are not getting pinched and shorting out.

    Had the same problem today.

LH light would'nt go all the way down.

Changed the fuse and it kept blowing. Seems there was an obstruction.

took the light out and saw that the rear plug had come undon. Put it back on and it's all working ok now.

Can you describe the "plug"? Was this an electrical connector?
