Thanks Miroljub....I am sure that all of those who are wanting to test their sensors will greatly appreciate this information.

The 348 and 355 sensors are the same as far as I know.

    Hi guys,

well finally got around to looking at this today. I managed to get hold of another heating ecu to try in my car so thought i would give it a go. Long story short is it fixed the problem. my old ecu turns the valve to hot and stays there the minute it gets power. Might take it apart and have a look to see if I can find any signs of burnt bits re the printed circuit board and resistors, capacitors ect.

any way, just chuffed to have the heating working properly. another small job ticked off the list.

Thanks to all involved for the help.

I was so happy i took the car up the road for a little victory lap and then home again. Weather was so miserable today. Hoping tomorrow will be dry and so I can wash the car and get some more pictures. I have a new camera so trying to get a handle on it. These were the first pics for my new Canon 7d mk2. Hope to study the features tonight and get out with it tomorrow.

Fixed Ferrari and new camera, today was a good day.

Good news, it works. Bad news, it was the ECU.

Yeah, fortunately for me my buddy actually had a spare so at least I didn't have to find one or spend a fortune.
