Occasinonally my idle speed is around 1900 rpm when the ac compressor is on and when I turns it off (stop button) it goes down to 1000 rpm. Other times its around 1000rpm with the compressor on. Is this familiar to anyone? What 's then the problem?

Not that it would be the ultimate solution to whatever is going on....but have you tried an ECU RESET by chance? This SOMETIMES can cure bugs like that. You might get lucky....but there is probably something going on that needs to get investigated more. Good luck. I am sure you will get it sorted out.

Not tried a reset of the ECU. Must be done with special tool by an autherized dlr I presume. Might call my Ferrari workshop/dlr tomorrow.

No special tool required. The process is described in the owner's manual. As I have pleaded to you before, please read the owners manual, it will answer many of your questions. ;)

Resetted the ECU several times, also swapped AC control unit with another similar car. No difference unfortunately. It must be a signal fault to the AC CU from thr ECU. Will read out DTC's
