The horn on my car only works when I turn the steering wheel all the way to the right or left, is there an easy fix for that or do I need to remove the steering wheel in order to fix?

The 355 should be similar to a 348. There is a spring loaded contact right behind the steering wheel hub. Usually it gets dirty, causing the intermittent contact. You should be able to get to it by just removing the steering wheel column plastic covers. With a few fine brushes and some contact cleaner, it should work.

Do a quick search. I know there was a thread on this by Brent Lachelt.

If you have an airbag, make sure you know what you're doing.

All ready screwed up, after taking it apart, my airbag warning light came on and hasn't turned off yet. Worst, I was not able to fix the horn. Well, back to the dealer, so the dealer can make some money.

Turns out it was the clock spring contact (part #169471) was informed by authorized Ferrari dealer that; not only 355 prices are going up, also parts prices are going up. For example a new clock spring part was selling for $300 2 years ago, now it's $1300. Ended up picking one up for $80, but installation was $450. Maybe it's a good idea to invest in 355 parts as prices go up.

    Problem solved

If only we knew which ones to buy. Never would have guessed to stock up on clock springs...

Can the clock spring be fixed? Or does it just completely go bad beyond repair? That's ridiculous that it is $1300 on Ricambi...
