I have a big curiosity. The 355 is one of the best car in the world. After 14 years how old is the thechnology?

If Ferrari can remake the 355 in 2008, with 2008 year technology, how it will be ?

How much power, how much weight, how it will perform in terms of dynimics?

But would have to sound much better to deserve the 355 styling!

I think the 355 is one of the coolest to me, is because its the last of the "old-school" Ferraris.

It'd be a '99 with better headers and valve guides - and interior stuff that doesn't stick!!

Agreed, the 348 IS the last of the old school Ferrari's. The 355 however is just overshadowed by it's big brothers (360 & 430) everywhere it goes.

Don't be so sure of the interior that doesn't stick, Ferrari are still using the same covering on the plastic parts, some 360's are going sticky now too. How long till the first 430 goes sticky? Easy to fix anyhow. ;)

I post this because i find 355 to be one of the last cars to have such forms, such dimensions. The ride hight, the overall length, the height, makes not just a sexy car but a nimble sport car.

There will be no such cars, because of safety regulations, because the customer want comfort form a super-car...

Today many of the sport cars are huge....fat, tall....

    +1.........

the 348 definately 'old schol'...... but not the last ..... ;)

-10....;).........the 355 is overshadowed by no subsequent v8 f-cars.... ......... in fact the 355 engine was so good in its design .....it was carried over to the 360, 360 challenge and the CS..... all of which happen to use a 355 engine with 2m more stroke and variable exhaust cam and a variable length intake runners...... ;)

    Well said!!! :)
