Great minds think alike! I am looking to remove the clocks and mount a Bluetooth GPS receiver permanently within the dash, the GPS I have has a mode where it powers on/off when power is supplied/removed at its input. Hence would also be cool to have a 12v ignition switched feed. Anyone any ideas before I hit the books?

I'll let you know if I find one suitable before someone replies ;)

The quickest way to find power is to get a 12v test light and with ignition key on,probe the backs of wiring plugs/harness around the centre console till you find a power wire. Turn the key on and off while back probing plug,to make sure that it is an ignition feed. Cheers :)

the 98 355 (5.2 motronic) has only one fuel pump. the earlier 95 355 (2.7 motronic) had two fuel pumps. Ferrari uses the same fuse box for the both cars.
On the fuse box there should be a relay for left and right fuel pump one of which is not used. you can tap into the keyed power for the unused relay for the power you need.

    best regards, Jim
