just got my first 355, have a 308 and dont have this problem. I can't stand the interior melting look. I removed the switches and replaced them all via ricambi.com. I was cleaning and noticed that wd-40 removed the stickyness. I proceeded to clean the rest of my console successfully. I was elated! I am not sure if everyone knows this or if it has been posted before. If you plan to undertake this procedure use a clean dry cloth, lots of wd-40, and rub away until you hit beautiful hard black plastic. I have just completed my a/c vents. My interior is better than it was in 1995!!! Hope this is helpful to someone, as I wish I had know about this earlier.

Now all you'll have to worry about is the plastic bubbling on the centre console.

In Florida's sun and heat, it most surely will.

Though I'm glad you got the sticky stuff off !
