You may notice that door handles and the steering wheel column surround are not up on our website yet. They happen to be the very next 2 pieces we're working on. Dorr handles will be available in the next 2 weeks. The steering column surround will take several more weeks to finalize.

Here's a couple shots of our console. It's important to note that we make only perfect-fitting replacement pieces, never stick-on laminates, or parts that require modification to your vehicle in any way.

Wow...there is some hot looking CF parts for my car...someone tell my wife so she can "surprise" me

 

Bought mine from MaCarbon.com fast service excellent product. He just released some new pieces.

 

I don't want to get into a pissing match with Brian, and that console is certainly very nice, (we have a similar 348 console) but I'll take issue with one point in his post. There are different approaches to doing things that may work better for a certain situation. Some parts may call for a CF piece and some for a laminate (CF epoxied on the original part with a clearcoat finish), and some for a stick-on solution. What is the appropriate technique will depend on the desires of the client, the client's budget, the allowed development time, and the complexity of the actual piece being replicated. All of those factors vary from company to company, car model to car model, and certainly from client to client.

Which is cool because you'll see different solutions by different companies and even different solutions within the same company. We have a 360 instrument panel that is a very light CF piece and is amazing to look at. We also offer the same piece as a laminate (all our laminates are real CF) with a very high quality finish. It weighs a lot due to the underlying aluminum part. But when you install it - you can't tell the difference between the two. Some customers prefer the extra-sexy "true CF" piece while others prefer the lower cost, faster delivery of the laminate. The true choice comes down to the priorities of the client.

I think it is good to have a number of companies, using multiple techniques, working in the Ferrari world because it drives each company to provide more and better products and better customer service. I think everyone benefits. Certainly we all get more cool pictures to look at and more toys to torture our SOs with!

If anyone is looking at this thread, where can I find CF parts for the interior of my 355?

 

Anything specific?

 

MAcarbon is still in business (19 years after this post was made) and we still offer all of our 355 parts. Not sure about Valence - the website has been the same since 2005. The guys in Japan, Garapan, are gone. There are probably some other vendors out there but doubt much development has ben done on the 355 for quite a while.
