355 Manualinstructions wont do the trick

Hi!

I had my F355 Spider F1 -00 disconnected from battery for two weeeks while repairing the gear display.

I have tried to follow the instructions of clearing the error in the airbag ecu by connecting pin 1 to ground according to the instructions in the manual but nothing happens?
Actually, i am a little uncertain what really should happen..(nothing happens)

My questions:

1. Is there a certain position for the ignition key while doing this? Off, I or II?
2. Is there a certain way to see if the "Lamp check" is activiated without the SD2?
3. Should i just connect for 5-10 secs and all errors be cleared or must i somehow "navigate" to the right error and then connect 5-10 secs to clear that specific error?
4. Any other tool to buy/use on the market that WORKS for this issue? (I have 800 km to the closest Ferrari/SD2 shop) :-/

Anyone that have successfully managed to put out the airbag lamp without hooking up with the SD 2?

I pulled the plug on the passenger air bag last year in order to be able to put a child seat in. I was told by my Ferrari mechanic that it wouldnt be possible to reset it without plugging it into and SD2.

I searched the web for a long time and havent heard of anyone that has successfully turned the airbag light off.
If you somehow manage to do it please write back
