355 355 OBD2 P1106 code

Does anyone know or have seen this code on a 355?

The same code on a F360 says High MAF value, but ... that is a very different engine with dual MAF compared to the 355 single MAF sensor engine. I hesitate to declare the MAF as the problem.

 

You could try cleaning the MAF and clear the code and see if it comes back? A can of MAF cleaner is much cheaper than a new MAF.

 

I will try that. I did swap out the MAF (Original Bosch MAF, but old, used, and uncleaned) from another 96 355 to this car and the code came back even faster. So, I am not sure yet if this is a MAF problem. I do like to know what the code is for ... but there is no DTC list for a 355. We all use the list for a 360 Modena but as noted above, that is neither the same car nor engine so the similarity ends at some point.
