Is it possible to remove the oil cooler radiator without removing the coolant radiator? The rear 13mm nuts appear impossible to reach with the assembly in the car. Is there a trick? I am pulling the right header and need the cooler out for clearance.

You should not need to remove the oil cooler to remove the header.

I'm super close.. so close. But not there. There must be an articulation I'm missing.

For future reference the 13mm nuts on mine were captive so it was really easy to remove the oil cooler with the radiator In place.

Thanks all. For completeness I'll add this. On the oil cooler i thought i felt the nuts spinning so i stopped and asked before i got myself into something much larger if it wasnt necessary. Glad i took the time to step back.

The tank shield is was a bit if a surprise as i had the header out past that point but couldn't make it past the oil cooler.

I removed the tank shield and i also removed the cv axle heat shield bracket ( i had removed the cv shield but not its bracket prior. ) once i did those 2 steps it practically fell out. Lastly the Tubi replacement slid right back in with no drama. I will say that top nut access was a fun bit of various wrench gymnastics on the way out, but on the return trip the air injection rail position leaves even less room. Number 3 cylinder was an epic pain in the rear to get nut started and my hands wear the wounds as proof. I almost summoned my daughters small hands for assistance but patience prevailed and the job was finished.

Took me a bit to work through this but i wasnt in a hurry. If i had to do it again (which i still need to tackle the driver side famous last words "easier" side) i could do it a lot quicker. Having a nice assortment of various offset and types of 13mm wrenches helps along with sockets swivels and extensions helps and is probably a necessity. Some nuts are simple. Others required their own tool and tricks.

Now lets hope i didnt piss off the ferrari gods by saying the other side would be easier.
