If I don't get a response in a day or so from the owner, or someone that knows him, I will call the manager and have him call the owner himself and inform/apologize etc...

What a dip****. This is coming from someone who lets 1/2 the neighborhood drive his car. When I hand the keys over to someone I understand the risk and liability I am taking in something happening to the car, this is my own decision. I don't take my F355 to get an oil change and think that I may come back and see that it is in pieces because someone took it for a test spin.

The odd thing is, the guy who owns the dealership is a BIG Ferrari fan who owns multiple F-cars at the same time. Not sure how many he owns right now but, in the past, he had an F40. I think he would be none too pleased to find out one of his techs joyrode in a customer's 355 and then bragged about it online.

This is one of my worst fears, some dumba$$ kid flogging my car to the redline, most likely without warming it up. Now, it is possible that the owner gave this kid permission to drive his car, so let's not start an unnecessary witch-hunt. However if "Christian" did take the car without permission, then he should have at least one ball chopped off using a rusty butterknife. Both balls, maybe a little too severe, but one for sure.

wow i just got to my computer since i created this thread. A lot blew this out of what i was trying to say. the way i worded it might and does sound like abuse now that i reread it numerous times. it was no joy ride by any means it needed to be driven for state inspection a total of 1.5 miles at most. this thread got out of control. just thought it was a good looking car, kinda wanted to share....

Yeah thats what I would say as I back pedal realizing my stupid act and bragging about it might cost me my job or worse. First an oil change doesn't require a test drive. Second if 93cobra is correct and the poster is 21 yoa I doubt he is qualified to inspect a whole lot of a Ferrari 355 much less needing to drive it to evaluate some mechanical functions. Nice try though!!!!!!

I vote for the removal of both balls.......so he can't contaminate the rest of society with his stupidity.
