How many Fobs & Keys should there be for a ' 98 Spider ?

    I know i have seen 1 Red & 2 Black in past Threads(3 Fobs & 3 Keys)
    Is this info Correct ?

Or does it differ in Model Years.

    Thanks.

I'm not an owner, but I do read a lot of owners manuals.
    The answer is:

    1 Red, 2 Black

A Ferrari dealer should be able to program a new black fob for you.
The red one can't be replaced.

Somewhere I saw that the red fob was supposed to be a "master". Do they enable a replacement black one by using the red one?

The Red one is the master and you cannot program a replacement without it.

You must have your PIN Code to reprogram new remotes or you will have to change the alarm ECU. Been there, doen that. A replacement remote set (1 red master, 2 black slaves) is availible from the dealer for around $500. I purchased a set last year only to later discover the PIN Code I had had been reprogramed in the past and did no longer work, hence the ECU change. The ECU comes with a new remote set so I sold the individual remote set previously purchased to another FChat member. I actually have another set but no replacement PIN Code to go with it.

Hi there, i am picking up a F355 1995 next week, previous owner says he has 2 keys, not sure about color (one i saw was black) but no keyless entry... is this not available on the 1995 (i dont even know if it has power locks for that matter!?!? - didnt notice)

Should keyless entry fobs have come with the car?

    Thanks
    ian
