    friday i took my car out for a short drive (1996 355 spider) the check engine light came on, the car was idling rough, the car had very little power, & the slow down light came on. I suspect one of the ecu's is bad. Anyone know the OBD code for this?

    As a short cut, you could just disconnect the offending ECU to see if that fixes it.

    two of the ecu's on the passenger side behind the wheel well seem to have been replaced (they are green, as opposed to the factory black). The one under the driver side(left) engine cover is black and is the most likely culprit. I disconnected this one, but no change.

    Do you know where i can download a list of obdII codes for the 1996 355?
