What are 355's fetching nowadays? 1997 355B - Non red, 15k miles, Belts/Clutch done maybe a year or so ago. Thanks
Prices have tumbled lately ................... there are spiders around in the 70's & 80's now!! (Red ones even!) lapeter is on the money ........
Jerry... I paid $80k for a '97 red/tan 355B with 24k miles at the dealer back in January of this year....hope this helps...
Just the one! Thanks guys - I was thinking 80k-85k, but it sounds like prices have come down a little bit. The car I saw had the carbon fiber seats - I was guessing that might add $2k or so? Also, the car was at a dealer, so I would think it would be tough to get for $75k.
Ferrari Italy told me that only approx. 200 Red /blk 355 F1 spiders were ever produced worldwide. Deduct for neglected / loss vehicles and your down even further. Vehicles in the US, down more.... I think I'll hold on to mine.
Sorry, thought you had two ! BTW, the carbon spt seats are a very rare and expensive option. I think they retailed @ nearer £5k
I did for a short period, but sold the blue 328 after getting the TR. The sports seats sure are nice. Kind of like the $5 milk shake.
Was the service done by this dealer???? That service with clutch could run at a Ferrari dealer 6k to 8k. Buy a 97b without the service for75k to 80k were are you at that point??????These guys are always low balling on this board. Some crappy spider on ebay for 75k such crap!!!! The bottom line is serviced cars done buy dealers or strong independants good cosmetics cost more!!!!! GOOD LUCK BUY A GOOD CAR DO NOT TRY TO SAVE 5K AND END CRYING THE BLUES!!!!!
Pretty close. Now that I look back on it, I am not sure of the other one was this same Hyperion Blue color or California Azzurro - Doesn't look to be much difference. I like the sport seats in this one, but prefer the cream interior of the one that got away. Rick thinks the car needs to be a darker blue. My wife thinks the same.
Price is what you are willing to pay and I think the only people really qualified to give price details are those who have paid in the last 6 months. Check Ferrari Market Letter and discount by say 7% and you'll get a good idea of prices. Problem is - some folks ask the moon for a pile of junk. You really have to do your homework to find a good car. Scott
