A 355 Spyder has been an object of admiration for a while. What impact do folks think the release of the 430 will have on 355 prices, since it will then be two generations of V8 Ferrari's old? Or will it have little to no affect, since 430's will not be competing with 355's?

But then 355 owners may "jump up" to depreciating 360's, causing 355 prices to slump some.

    Projections?

    Thanks in Advance

i would hope that the 355s are near their bottom prices, but they have a little futhur to fall but hopefully not much..the 360s will fall more, but mostof the drop will be later when the 430s are more numberous...

Also...cowl shake...how much "tighter" is the hardtop over the spyder? The spyder has the looks, but do you sacrifice significantly in terms of handling and solidity?

i'd say 355's have another 15-20K of downside in the next few years...

My prediction: In 150 years they won't be worth as much as they are today. However, you wont be here.

I suspect premium-priced newer cars with low miles have more to fall as early 360's depreciate. However, earlier 355s with average miles will not change in value much.

355s are rarer than 360s which will provide support for the value of good ones.
