Does any one agree ?...the gap between the prices of 355 and 360 is prety narrow which one is priced incorrectly in your opinions ?

I think they are priced right. The 360 will drop now as the 430 becomes more popular on the road. Also there were many more 360 than 355 sold, so 355 prices should stay over £35k. I think maserati is a good example of numbers holding prices up. As a nice late Ghibli GT/CUP is the same as price as a 3200GT.

Of course, this is only my opinion.

It's difficult to tell, you need to compare like with like, as in the very best of the late 355 with the very best of the early 360! I was amazed when I recently visited a bodyshop to see as many damaged Ferraris as they had, so I think there may be quite a few "average" cars out there!
So many factors affect values that it's hard to tell what the "real" price for a specialist car is! As seen in the "wasted journey" thread, lots of people don't have a clue how to describe a car accurately, so everything on the market "appears" to be a perfect car, the truth is often different when you get to see it!

Good point,I guess it really does depend on condition etc...IMO like for like mileage and condition 355(late) vs 360(early) seems to be a diff of approx £10k-£15k...

Looks about right, however If you look at the spider price diff its much wider:

    1)late 355 Spider with early 360 spider (same colour/spec/miles) - £20 - 30K

    Top 355(red/crema) spider money is 65K, bottom 360 (red/crema) is about 85-90K

That seems quite logical if you think about it. IIRC there was a £3k or so price rise from last 355 to 1st 360, if you then compare a 99 355 to a 00 360, deduct price rise, you have a difference circa £7-12k, so it "seems" they are depreciating at a similar rate per year. The true comparison will come when 00 360s bottom out, which I think 95 355s have!

The 355 is seen at least against the 360 as being the classic ferrari.

I think we will soon see parity in values between say 99 360 and 99 355

There are some late model 355's for sale asking crazy money which might be making the difference look less than it actually is. How many 355's sell for 60K?

The main dealers are confident that they will, one told me that they've stocked up with decent examples to see them through the summer! Remember...you're never in trouble with a "nice" car, it's the ones with stories that will cause you problems. See this link for a good example;) http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=134955274&postcount=1

My thoughts exactly. The 360 will eventually drop below a good 355. Way too many made and we could even see that eventually happen to the 430.

Unfortunately Ferrari have sold out to the masses. 360/430 are good cars, the 355 is a great car

Don't be too surprised when it sells though!
The very best cars will always command a premium, and they don't stock tat!;)

Stratstone have a 355 GTB up for £69,995. It had better come with a complimentary page 3 girl for that kind of money!

Yeah that's the right place. Either they've flogged it or they've reduced the price then. I saw it when I was at Oulton park a couple of weeks ago and nearly died of shock
