For 30 years I wanted a 512bb. Two years ago I gave a 45K deposit on a 100K car. Something felt funny about the car, I pulled out of the deal. I'm kicking myself ever since... I just purchased a 1995 355. Red over Tan spider, black rag, stick shift car. 21K on the clock. Absolutely perfect car. I wanted a 95 model over a newer one because of the intake system of the 95.

I was tossed. For the $$ I thought a 348 might be the way to go but, my wife has always wanted a 355 so... I went for it. The car is coming out of Florida. We should have possession within two weeks.

I'm stoked. I can't wait to drive her. However, I may still buy a 348, keeping our 355. Pros and cons? Please chime in.

You're not the only one in pain about not grabbing a Boxer at sub $100k levels. That will be a lifelong regret for alot of guys.

Too similar and both maintanence intensive. Take a look at some different types of cars....how about a V12 550 or Aston? Or a Pantera? Or what I have, a Diablo (also a service hog but in a different way)?

    95's rule IMO. Good choice!!

Get both, they will make you appreciate the two cars much more. I don't have a 348 but I do wish I had one to compliment my 355. Good problem to have!

so...50 miles in the Suspension warning light comes on and stays on. Anyone with an insight to any commonalities ????

Very likely could be a malfunctioning Shock actuator. My light cam on and that was the problem. Very easy to check. You can remove them one at a time while leaving them plugged in to the car. Turn the key and if functioning, you should see the gears turn inside. If they don't, that's most likely the problem. Captain Z (check online) usually can repair them for $125 with upgraded parts. I say usually because mine was seized and they could not fix it. I found a good used one for $200.

You may know this and I'm just asking so don't take offence but if you are new to 355s are you sure it is the suspension warning light or is it the sport mode light? I believe on a 95 it will light up a picture of a shock when it sport mode. The switch is on the consul maybe you bumped it on.

Some cars the shock lit up is sport mode (my 97 is this way), some with the shock lit is comfort mode and later cars have a light that says "sport" instead of the shock.

    Just something to check.
