Hi Guys, first post here so sorry its a bit boring. Does anyone make a modification to the throttle linkage that will give it a shorter action ? I have only had the car a few weeks but find the throttle action very long, I have come from several 911's and find the set up there easier to live with, you seem to have to really bury the throttle in the floor on the 355 to get any rapid progress. Just wondering if you guys have a fix for it or just live with it ? Regards Paul
The throttle mechanism is just behind the plate on the right of the pedal. Easy to get to. Should be a fairly straightforward alteration to make the lever a little longer to give quicker action. Myself, I prefer a little more NASCAR-style long travel making it easier to modulate throttle, but then again, I'm not the greatest driver!
You might also check to see if you have too much slack in the throttle cable. It's long and stretches over time.
