    My 1997 355 did not come with a radio is it safe to asume that the wiring for the radio and the speakers was a standard part of the wiring harness and its just a matter of fitting the system.

    All 355's came with a top of the line audio system..it is located in the engine bay...I believe the only options available were tubi or non ;)

    The previous owner of mine installed a wicked audio system...listened to it twice, then forgot about it in favour of that wicked engine/exhaust howl!!

    In serious response to your question however, unless it is/was a challenge model..the wiring should still be there..unless a previous owner really went to town on it audiophile-wise....Good luck!

    I did not know that Tubi was an option on the 355 I have been a TR guy so far so this is new I drive the 355 more than the TR I think I still have such an awe for my TR that I baby it a lot.

    Although the wiring loom connector is probably still there, it's definitely not a plug and play application for an aftermarket radio installation. You have to determine what the new radio's connections are and match them to the car's wiring.

    I had spend a lot of time decoding the factory schematic on what the radio harness connections are, and if you need the info, let me know and I'll pass it along.
