Replica's, and damn good ones... I use them with my LeMans Grill, excellent quality and absolutely EXACT replica's.

Genuine Ferrari lamps will have the proper harnesses built into the housing. Those appear to be non-original/repro. Here's the back of an original:

light for light, those aftermarket ones cost less than half the price of OEM. I paid $180 at FerrParts for the whole set of 4, but I also bought a set of used OEM 355 bulb holders from them for $10 each. Because these lenses are identical clones to OEM, the OEM bulb holders fit on them perfectly too.

These are very viable replacements for any 355/360/550/575 with melted or broken lenses... simply reuse your OEM bulb holders.

BTW, the same company also makes them in clear and smoked versions too... but they are pricier. I really wanted the smoked ones for my LeMans grill, but it would have put me over budget.. maybe someday.

How would you plug into that? You CAN save your "stockers" or oem lights from melting. Replace the center back up light with a low heat, LED replacement. There are several threads on the topic. I did it, and while I had some minor damage that was starting, it has not progressed at all since the change to LED's. Just becareful which type you select, since there are some new ultra high output Cree LED's (3 to 5 watt) that probably put out more heat than the oem bulb! ;) I would recommend the LED "array" type comprised of 15 or so lower output LED's versus a single or triple high output LED's.

Hmm, could be a good option for having a set of smoked lights and a set of standard.

Better than smoking genuine lights IMO.

Can someone give us a link to where to buy these please.

    May I ask something?
I want to take out my Back Light because it has drops of water inside. Do I need to take out the rear Grill for the Job? cause I unscrew the Light but didnt want to come off.

    Thanks in advance

I was gonna say that from the photos, it almost appears that there is some kind of quirky wiring connector hanging off the back that is to be wired up to some kind of converter harness? Not sure... need a photo from the same perspective as Daniel's photo of the official OEM light.

The first thing that jumped to my mind is that the boxes are wrong. I got my 355 lights (also for a Husker/Lemans grill on a 348) from two different sources: I got the outboards from Husker himself, and the inboards from www.ricambiamerica.com (thanks Daniel!). All shipped in (although very different containers) very clearly marked "official Ferrari part" boxes.

I have a question about the comments on melted lights. Apologies for flirting with thread hijack, but when one talks about melted lights, does one mean the lights melting from the internal bulbs, or melting from engine heat?

The reason I ask is, as a 348 owner, when I installed my Lemans grill, I noticed my OEM lights were melted on the inboard edges. Now with the custom grill installed, and the old "engine bay covers" are removed, I fear that the 355 lights I have now installed (OEM) might melt from engine heat as well. Does anyone have any experience in this area? I've put a whopping 10 miles on my car since grill conversion. Just got it back on the road TODAY after a lengthy partial restoration process (9 effin months long!).

Anyway, there are my comments and questions for what they are worth...

I'm not sure about an actually 355, but in my 348 with a 355 style rear grill, the lights fit in the sockets in such a way that I have to remove the entire grill to comfortably remove any individual light. Perhaps this is not normal, as I did a fairly significant amount of bodywork to try and get a better fit of said custom grill. I would be curious to know if one can "normally" removing the lights without taking out the entire grill.

I guess too. As I inspect the Lights on the photo and on my car I see that at the end of them the diameter is bigger, this diameter its not passing through the Grill holes and the Light cannot move as well because of the threads,so I guess l need to take out everything back there.

I have the Genuine Ferrari lights on my LeMans grill too. In the 7500 miles I've driven (some on track), there has been no melting or deformation of the lamp's body or outer lens.

There is a thread somewhere about how I built harnesses to interconnect from the OEM lamps into the 348 wiring. (EDIT: The picture is here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=138391726&postcount=246) With Weatherpack connectors and heat shrink tubing, the electrical side of the equation is rock solid.

p.s. Different box designs from Ferrari was not uncommon a year or two ago when they were switching the packing around for their parts. The older boxes are the 'all yellow' ones with the cavallino. New boxes use the "Ferrari Genuine" branding with more black coloration in the print. The boxes are also a slight bit heavier paper stock.

Oem inboard tail lights as used on the 355, 550, 575, 360, etc WILL melt from the back up light bulb. The bulb is positioned too closely to the clear center part of the lens. The only solution is to either remove the bulb, or replace with a low heat LED replacement. There are several threads on the subject if you search this forum.

Excellent! Very good to hear this!

Very nice! My wiring looks very much hacked at the moment. Your connector looks like a very elegant solution. I see some rewiring in my near future.

Hmmm... I've been thinking about updating LED replacements for a while. It sounds like I should go ahead and just do it. Thanks for the info!
