My battery is dead on the remote control disarming device and I can't find a battery that small. A 23, E23A 12.OV. None of the local places carry it. Anyone know where to get it in the north NJ Area?

Check with Bruce Wellington here on the board - he's the resident battery guru, and he's in NJ to boot!

I got mine from a local pharmacy, Rite Aid. It was an energizer brand. Was the first place I tried. Was just hanging on the rack with the rest of the batteries. I guess I got lucky based on your unsuccessfull tries.

If you local drug store doesn't have it (they should in the photo dept.), then go to a hardware store, this battery is commonly used for both car alarms and garage door transmitters.
